Moving Up Productions is a New York-based entertainment company founded in 1975. The first artists released on the Moving Up label was Mike and Bill (Somebody's Gotta Go) before being signed to Clive Davis Arista Records.
Moving Up Productions along with Rollers Productions Ltd introduced one of the first self-contained African American bands (Man's Theory) to be signed by MCA records. Joining the roster of artists like Elton John, Bernie Taupin, Olivia Newton John, Joe Bataan, and Lynard Skynard
